The Red Chinese Communist, besides their love of red colour also loves the colour of money. The one with fur that is white and black - their Pandas.
Being the largest consumer of raw materials, sucking out natural resources from foreign lands to the extend of supporting regimes that oppress their people, the commies ensure they prop up regimes that they can milk them of natural resource to feed Red China's economy and make them filthy rich. And what they export from the imported natural resources, our free economy contradiction red communists have no qualms to supply counterfeit, copycats, low quality stuff to export markets.
The only time you realise the People's Republic of China is communist and living out the brutal ways of the communists is when they whack dissents and those who oppose them - that is if they fail to keep a watertight censorship of their brutality and human rights abuse. But then, can't blame the red commie because probably they are just doing what their ancestors did. If one knows the thousand years of Chinese history, they slaughter each other every decade or century or so, depending on their interpretation of when 'tien' withdraws its mandate to the ruling dynasty.
Being shrewd is not solely a Chinese trait. It's the trait of those engaged and involved in the business of making fortunes, mostly money. Be it a Chinese, Arab, Jew, English, Japanese or Malay, as long as one engages in making money, shrewdness is in the blood of those who deal with making money.
Shrewd business fellows, in the case our red commie Chinese, don't do things for free! If they did, they would have given the Panda's to BolehLand's beloved leaders, the government of the day right? But they loaned it? Like some ah long. You will need to repay our commie Chinese in subtle ways and soon it will be known the kind of 'tributary' we need to owe to the red commie party government.
Does BolehLand needs the cruel act of the red commie chinese to trap Pandas from the wild and loan them to us? Why do we need the Pandas at all? Should we blame Melissa Cobb that got our 1Malaysia leaders all goo gaa watching Kung Fu Panda to want them for pets?
Are BolehLand folks bored with tigers, tapir, sang kancil, orang utans and other BolehLand wild animals they need Pandas to add some 'cuteness' into our lives?
Seems even Madam Tourism thinks it will be a tourist attraction. Which means we don't have our own local pull and need an air con, special bamboo diet pair of 'manja' Pandas to attract tourist to visit 'Truly Asia' huh?
There is really nothing cute about Pandas because it's terribly expensive taking care of them. Google on how much it cost to take care of pandas and you'd find out the red commie Chinese leases "each panda to zoos for $2 million (“panda cost and research”). And then there are the habitats the zoos must build, plus the expensive diets they have, and if there’s a baby bear, that’s another $600,000 per year..." Check here
Seems it may cost taxpayers a cool RM20 million to 'manja' the pandas for 10 years which is about RM2 million for air con, special bamboo diet and ICU like care! Or is it RM10 million a year? Noone seems to know the cost of maintenance in BolehLand. We can't use what other countries have spent because in BolehLand cost rises mysteriously to two or tenfold within a week or so!
Are we doing enough to save our own endangered species, among them the Malayan tiger, sang kancil, tapir and orang utans? NGOs lament the lack of funds and public awareness in wildlife preservation. Why do we need to spend money to take care of a foreign endangered species?
We should object to this silly 'ah long' deal. Keep the Pandas in the wild and leave them in the wild.
There is nothing cute about bringing in the Pandas and spending unnecessary money just for some politician's fancy for expensive pets. If it's to panda-ring to the Chinese for votes, let us hope the Chinese have better sense than be cruel to the Pandas to make us look 'cute' having them.
Is having Pandas some kind of prestige and pride that our government are so desperate to get? When one is obsessed to want what the jones' have, price is secondary to seeking vanity right?
Do we really need the Pandas when such money can be used for better use? Caging animals is not animal conservation or preservation. If one think it is, then please beg to be caged and see if its to conserve and preserve you hah!
Let us not get goo goo gaa gaa with Panda fever wanting to own 'loan' pandas. Somebody is going to get rich from 'taking care' of these pandas. Don't be surprised that a 'Panda-gate' is in the making because millions of ringgit are going to be spent to satisfy someone's vanity.
And what is this asking BolehLand folks to give names to the Pandas? Perhaps they think BolehLand folks got talent for inventive name? Was it because of the previous cat naming stunt? For want of names for the Pandas, what about Ba & Sir or Ber & Sih or Bo & Doh or Shiok & Sendiri or Flip & Flop or Ah & Long or Waste & Money or Ma & Hal or Vote & BN or I Love & Red China or 1Wang & More Wang or Suc & Ker?
Are we such a complacent lot and allow the red commie chinese government to use their shrewdness to wring some unkown business deals from this 'panda long' scheme? Unless we believe our red commie chinese government are a charitable lot in this panda loan, there must be something that history must have taught us about shrewd business loans and deals eh?
Say 'NO' to this panda loan. Why are BolehLand folks ambivalent and seem cool about this panda loan deal? We are just making some people rich for this unnecessary loan shark panda deal
Keep them in the wild than some air con enclosure and millions of ringgit to upkeep them for someone's vain and 'cute' pleasure!
