In the Chinese vs Chinese warlord tai kohs debate, the government Chinese leader said a vote for DAP is a vote for PAS.
Today, the government Chinese leader, tai koh said a vote for PAS is a vote for DAP. See online news below.
It's certainly a good advice from perhaps the highly paid foreign PR, public relations that is, to remind each race how voting one will mean voting another. Which imply we voters are really stupid morons not knowing who the partners in both the coalition party are, right?
So if voting for DAP is a vote for PAS
And a vote for PAS is a vote for DAP
So too a vote for PKR is a vote for DAP
And a vote for DAP is a vote for PKR
And a vote for PAS is a vote for PKR
And a vote for PKR is a vote for PAS,
The Barisan leaders are really doing the Pakatan fellows a favour by reminding voters who the principal parties are in Pakatan Rakyat.
Unlike in Barisan with so many hanger-ons in BN, imagine if the Pakatan leaders are trying to use the same logic as the Barisan leaders.
A vote for Umno is a vote for MCA
A vote for MCA is a vote for Umno
A vote for Umno is a vote for MIC
A vote for MIC is a vote for Umno
A vote for MCA is vote for MIC
A vote for MIC is a vote for MCA
A vote for Gerakan is a vote for Umno
A vote for Umno is a vote for Gerakan
A vote for PPP is a vote for UMNO
got the hint?

Isn't that what a coalition party amounts to? No matter which individual party you vote for, you are effectively acknowledging the others too? A one for all and all for one? If you vote for MCA are you not also voting to give UMNO power to rule and be the tai koh over the rest of the BN partners? Or is the BN leader saying a vote for MCA is a vote for MCA because MCA alone will be powerful to be the government of the day?
If we were to follow this PASsing the vote around local logic, the BN fellows are at a disadvantage really. Because if you don't like the nearly two dozen parties in BN, you'd not vote for any of them and you have only three in the other alternative choice to vote right?
It can also work to BN's advantage because if you love any of the nearly two dozen races the BN parties protect, you get a larger voter's share than PR with only three and very weak with representatives of other races, the minorities.
Let's not use party name but instead say
A vote for DAP is a vote for Islam
A vote for PAS is a vote for Islam is protected and defended
A vote for PKR is a vote for justice, equality
A vote for PR is a vote for loose morality, gender equality
A vote for UMNO is a vote for ketuanan Melayu
A vote for MCA is for ketuanan Melayu
A vote for MIC is for ketuanan Melayu
A vote for MCA is a vote for begging for a share in doing business
A vote for MIC is a vote for begging to retain Tamil schools
A vote for UMNO is a vote to ensure Islam is protected and defended
A vote for Gerakan is hoping to get some crumbs after the first round of begging for crumbs from MCA and MIC to UMMO is finished
Hmm that would surely confuse us voters right?
One could get a legitimate well earned Doctorate in Curtin University just to research on the vote mapping implications arising from this madness to try and figure out voting for this or that party implies, right? At least the PhD is from one's own actual genuine sweat, tears, blood and hard work, using own money and struggling alone supporting family and kids perhaps and the Doctorate is of much higher value than one that is being conferred eh, don't you think Curtin huh?

Now Najib says a vote for PAS is a vote for DAP
By Yow Hong Chieh, February 19, 2012, Malaysian Insider
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 — Datuk Seri Najib Razak appeared to tell Muslims today that a vote for PAS was a vote for DAP, the day after MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek told Chinese voters the reverse.
Without naming either opposition party, the prime minister (picture) cautioned some 400 delegates at the Himpunan Ulama, Cendekiawan Islam dan Penulis Maya here that support for one “faction” will translate into backing for its partner as well.
“Even if we vote for that faction, it is the one who sleeps in the same bed with them that will profit,” he said during his luncheon address, adding that he hoped online writers would get his meaning.
“The Chinese held a debate on Chinese at the crossroads. Muslims too are at a crossroads, more so since the general election is not far off. We must choose, and the one we choose must be able to guarantee the honour and purity Islam.”
Dr Chua warned the Chinese community during his debate with DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng yesterday that a vote for the opposition party was a vote for PAS, which he claimed would impose its Islamist values on non-Muslims.
DAP would not be able to stop PAS from establishing an Islamic state in Malaysia should Pakatan Rakyat (PR) win federal power as “PAS is the taiko (big brother)”, the MCA president said.
