The 'my-wan' End of Pakatan Prediction

2012 is upon us and depending on how life is treating you this year, some will hope that the Mayan Prophecy of the end of the world on Dec 21, 2012 will be fulfilled.

Yet many of us optimists are pessimistic about anyone doing a Nostradamus on us since the prophets last left terra ages ago.

In BolehLand, even before one has finished his wish list and resolutions for the New Year, particularly the politicians, one influential blogger better know as RPK, his interview was timed perfectly on New Year's day for his 'my-wan' prediction of the end of Pakatan and the rise of UMNO and Barisan.

If politicians and political party are just writing their wish list for the new year, they are seriously not serious about their political ambitions. You should have been working on day one after GE12 to set your political agenda so that it is BAU on GE13.

These days, it's anything BAU or business as usual for the political parties. Their actions have brought quite a lot of stink on the political landscape and the ones getting stung by the stench of their gutter politics are the common folks.

But what a blast to Pakatan from their supposedly 'deposit' blogger who has not minced his royal words and comments on Pakatan as well as BN too.

The stinger in the interview publication is supposedly the falling out with Pakatan and its leader specifically the PKR party.

To those who saw RPK as a God sent angel to rid BolehLand from afar from all the ills and woes, he has exposed and predicted, the Sunday with RPK revelations must be the most dishonourable act of betrayal to the ABU cause.

Each MSMedia reporting the interview angled it according to their agenda to yield maximum damage to the Pakatan cause and those who are wishing for a change.

The publication of the interview is a surprise and shocker to the opposition camp. But then, isn't RPK one who relishes in shock and awe in his writings in his blog Malaysia Today.

He didn't indicate he would publish or expose the Statutory Declaration and all those supposedly Sulit, Secret Documents in the past. So why should he do so in this latest expose of his?

Some think the interview is an all out attack on Pakatan to set the stage for their fall and like his prediction of the leader, fade into oblivion after GE13.

So he have angered many who saw him as hero and saviour from afar, brandishing his pen and writings against UMNO and BN to support the Opposition.

And he has certainly 'failed' his legions of followers who believed him some Gandalf, the Lord of Sting who fears noone in ruffling feathers or disturbing the hornet's nests!

What a start for the new year to be in an angry and emotional state. Bad fung sui and chi to start New Year with negativism that leads to pessimism among many who think RPK as the catalyst for the ABU cause.

But one's patience can only hold the glue to stick that much right? Seriously, are the revelations on PKR, Pakatan and Anwar a load of hogwash that even surpass the cowdominum fiasco?

Is it not true PKR and Pakatan are imploding from their own infighting and doing?

While Pakatan will scream they don't have the advantage of the MSMedia to sing their successes, didn't they gloat that they have the advantage of the new media to carry their message, achievements, their agenda and hopes for the people?

Look at the pro Pakatan and Pakatan party websites. Few and far postings safe the Selangor Times list the success and groundwork they are doing to make life better for the people.

Their websites are jibes at every BN policies. Even their attempts to expose corruption fall short of sustainability. Is it they don't have the trust of whistleblowers that they will be able to really expose corruption and put the crooks away that many are not willing to go to them to expose corruption?

For those who will even vote for a donkey and are dead set ABUs, nothing that PKR say will change their mind. It is the fence sitters who will be decisive and if Pakatan or BN are not doing enough to convince them to cast for either of them, you are going to get spoiled votes and the status quo may remain. Worse those fence sitters who voted opposition may not vote for them which means marginal Pakatan won seats will be lost and vice versa!

There are those who don't mind the chaos of even 1 year Pakatan is in power just to prove that BN is not the good guys they make themselves out to be.

Presently BN has always challenged Pakatan and anyone who accuse them of corruption with their own challenge 'Where is the proof? If we are corrupt as you claim how come not one of the Ministers or their party members are jailed or brought to trail?'

This boast alone smacks of arrogance and it is this that drive the common people, excluding the rural folks, to want a change of government to prove the accusations to be true!

If we know our history, long serving political parties are afraid of losing simply because it will expose all the ills that have been swept under the carpet. It will expose their hypocrisy, it will expose their guilt, it will expose their vulnerability.

Barisan is afraid to lose not because they will lose all their businesses connected to them. The new government can't seize businesses like come communists because they have the laws to deal with!!!

Barisan is afraid to lose because it will likely expose the rot behind the supposedly solid million over party members and the great plans they have. It will perhaps implicate too many people and too many butts will be singed!

Barisan is afraid to lose because it will end their race based policies and crumble their divide and rule policy.

Pakatan is afraid to lose because it may send all their fellows to Kamunting if we assume BN mentality does not change. It's payback time in GE13 if Pakatan is reduced to the stump, hah!

Many are adopting ABU because they also share RPK's conviction that UMNO and Barisan are no better today than it was yesterday or 52 yeas ago or tomorrow or DAY AFTER!

If BN and 1Malaysia believe we are mature people who are not Arab Spring material, we hope such belief holds true if, and that is a big IF, BN looses in GE13.

But seriously are we politically matured enough for a civil change of government? The way the former Selangor government shredded its existence to bits after losing in GE12 lingers in the minds of many. We wonder if anyone has information of an unusual purchase of shredders and boxes in the inventory, hah!

It's all about perception and right now Barisan or rather for 53 years Barisan has been able to win the perception war they are the better alternative to the rural folks.

The Pakatan fellows are not doing a good job in the perception field. No not in the MSMedia but their own websites. As they say, action speaks louder than words and right now the actions in Pakatan are warlords doing battle with each other hah! They love to give fuel to the MSMedia to fire away at Pakatan at any minute incidents. Shows the Pakatan veterans, newbies and wannabes are still novice in politics. We must give our hat, no not the vote, to the Barisan people for being able to manipulate and be ahead in the perception war. Perhaps they have the taxpayer's monies to employ expensive foreign, ie. Brits Dream team to do their PR.

While Pakatan PR is all about infighting so the perception these days.

So what of RPK's my-wan end of Pakatan's prediction? The MSMedia and pro BN websites are literally still in New Year celebration of this piece de resistance New Year's publication. What fantastic timing to set the fireworks on Pakatan!

The question is was it PKR's call to publish on New Year's Day to yield maximum damage or was it a MSMedia cartel consensus?

Whatever the revelation date, the 'truths' in the interviews do hurt the Pakatan camp in the perception war. But how many are willing to call RPK a liar in what he said as if there are no elements of truth in it.

Whether RPK has done a Mayan on us or his own my-wan prophecy of doom to Pakatan can only be answered by RPK. Perhaps he must be fed up with Pakatan taking him for granted and not heeding his advice. Perhaps RPK doesn't subscribe to the if you can't win them you join them.

Perhaps it's RPK's last call to Pakatan to buck up or his prophecy will ring true?

Whatever it is, what RPK said is NOTHING NEW, warlords infighting, backstabbing, inefficiency, corruption and all the woes and ills we want to get rid off HAVE NOT REDUCED. BN and Pakatan haven't moved a bit to change these.

For BN, they are at an advantage. It's Pakatan who faces an uphill battle but they are behaving like they are winners! That's sheer pure arrogance. Perhaps that's what RPK is trying to tell them to stop dreaming and wake up.

For those who still believe in RPK, his latest jibe against Pakatan will not be his last. RPK has given an annus horribilis to Pakatan in his latest interview. But it doesn't mean he does not have his spare poison arrows to do an annus horrbilis on BN either right?

So to the BN party celebration, perhaps it's good not to serve all the good drinks and food too fast to soon eh? RPK may be scripting his-wan prediction of doom and gloom on BN too in between his tom yam soup and green curry, huh?
