Give us Bread, Give us Liberty to Choose
One of the most famous cry of the French Revolution was the Parisians cry "Give us Bread", which was a precursor to all of France's demand to the throne to "Give us Liberty".
True to BolehLand's sickness, ills and woes that everything on and above this Tanah Melayu is being politicised, it has now come to the bread and butter or rather the roti (bread) issue. Even the bread we buy is being made into a racial issue? See story here.
Why on earth are we fighting over bread and who makes it? Isn't it about freedom of choice and capitalism if you have the means, be it monetary or money-gets-all or think white flour is going to give you the greenbacks, you go and bake your loaf and sell it? And consumers can choose what brand bread they want to buy?
Of course the ever sensitive halal issue gets in the way in almost every merchandise you use. Read merchandise, not activity, where the latter a lot of haram or illegal money laundering, corruption are being exchanged but these don't cause as much distress and sensitivity, than say the flour if it was sourced from a crony or from a non halal owner!!!
Let's hope the source of this allegation is discovered and we can safely eat our bread in peace, or, why should it matter at all if the bread is halal? Why the heck are we going racists over white or brown or even wholemeal bread?
If the base ingredient is being disputed, there is more far reaching consequences to this rumour. Simply because flour is the basis of so many of what we consume!!!
So will we get food manufacturers coming up with assurances that their products are halal and sourced from halal companies that are not politically controlled huh?
One thing for sure this bread war reveals is the kind of polices that are being perpetuated in BolehLand. Boycotting of products from cronies of a government is nothing new. BolehLand is expert in boycotting products of those who we deemed have wrong a religion, race and even language. No not the nation because many ordinary folks don't subscribe to government's foreign policy actions anyway.
We boycott the Brits, the Yanks, and every so often remind being reminded how anti Semite we are boycotting the Jews ie. Israel. Now the rumour to boycott this bread because the producer is a crony of the ruling government or supposedly not buying from a non halal flour producer is a continuation of our national boycott policy.
Political parties have always used the boycott card to rally public support against their opponents. It goes right to the supposedly businesses that the political parties have their visible or invisible hand in.
In the case of BolehLand, if we are going to carry the boycott to its letter and given the case of the visible hand of the ruling political parties in almost every business in BolehLand, if Sarawak is an example to choose from, ordinary folks will be left to only surviving on fresh air and sunshine!!!
Even if we want to boycott the locally produced car, the imported ones are all AP tainted with cronies well connected to the ruling government! So what are you left with trying to buy? If you want to travel on public transport, the cronies are behind the wheels too? Even the road you walk on, some cronies had a hand building it?
So it's not the bread alone if one wants to boycott that will give us liberty from cronyism. You'd literally have to boycott the whole of Tanah Melayu right?

Pay or be evicted says Pakatan right?
A local daily reported how the Penang Zakat Management Centre has stepped in to save three single mothers living under one roof from being evicted...by the Penang Municipal Council for RM456 rental areas.
And we know the Penang Municipal Council is under the DAP ala Pakatan controlled government.
The Pakatan supporters will surely deny they are being cruel and inhuman and will blame the MSMedia for reporting falsity.
Their argument is probably the response of the assembly fellow who was reported ...Sungai Pinang assemblyman Koid Teng Guan said he only gave reminders to the family to pay their outstanding rental payments to avoid being evicted...
Pure political bullshit speak from Pakatan. This fellow have been known to be inflicted by MCD, mad cow disease as he seem to shoot himself in the mouth, feet and head for saying some of the most ridiculous things in the past. This latest even surpass the current cowdominum BS! So if they can't pay even if you gave the reminders it would mean THEY WILL BE EVICTED, right!!!
One isn't sure the rational thinking behind their so called reminders! Being a single parent having to really make ends meet, the sympathy goes to the single mothers. We may not know the truth whether these single mums are filthy rich staying together or they really can't afford to pay for the rental.
It would be interesting to see how the Pakatan fellows will try and worm themselves out of this inhuman and shameful act.
Of course, there are many opportunists who will say that many are abusing the low cost homes to them. Agreed there are many who are abusing such a privilege but who has the political will to enforce the law to say the least? Who are those mostly living in such homes not by choice but simply they can't afford to buy their own home!
Which brings to the question of those who are willing to die and put others behind bars to defend the rights of certain groups to privileges and rights like discount for buying homes. How in the world did this happen that buying a home is subject to such apartheid policy?
Anyway, even if this group have a discount, they can't even afford to buy a home or pay for rental. So what are those defenders of rights and privileges all trying to champion? Preserve that right to those who can afford to buy million ringgit homes?
Those who need assistance should be given sympathy and empathy than defend oneself with the LAW to justify evicting people and what have you. It doesn't matter who is helping the single mum. Even if the action has an agenda or not, help was given. When one is in dire straits are we going to be like what happen to cases we hear with regard to medical insurance when the emergency unit arrives on an accident scene, they first ask if you have insurance before they decide the kind of aid or the hospital they will send you to huh?
So while we hear of Pakatan's grandiose dream to march to Putrajaya and bring about social change, if the genuine small things that matter to the small people are being neglected, will the majority ordinary small people believe they are the better alternative government.
The test of a government is not to blame others but how to resolve simple real ordinary problems. The big things are solved by issuing policy papers and coming up with grand NKRAs or KPIs. These means nothing to the single mums who are struggling to cope.
Anyway, it would do well for the religious department to investigate too if these single mums have surviving other half and if so whether they are supporting the single mum and the kids.
Kudos to the Zakat people for helping the single mums out of love, religious commitment or political agenda is secondary when situations demand we do the right thing at the right time.

Real Relations with Race Relations Law?
Why have we come to a state where we need a Race Relations Act (RRA)?
It was reported in an online blog that ....Putrajaya will table a Race Relations Bill in March to regulate interaction among the races and foster mutual respect, de facto law minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz says.Nazri said that Malaysia’s Race Relations Bill would take after the British law in barring discrimination on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, ethnicity and nationality in employment, provision of goods and services, education and public functions.... Is it a joke to have a RRA if we are not going to dismantle race based political parties? How do you foster interactions and mutual respect if everyone is screaming to safeguard Article 153 or to dismantle it and what have you?
Or is the RRA perfecting the accusation that BolehLand is one if not the only nation in this world where apartheid is practised? Okay there will be those who question if we even understand what apartheid is? For the uninitiated and those who use South Africa of 'ole' example, it's distinguishing humans based and distinguished by colour first. This reference is similar to the colour distinction that is being perpetuated and often people or rather races are reminded what race they belong too. All for the good of peace, muhibbah, mutual respect and what not?
Why are we in the first place continuing to harp on race and religion as the guiding principle in designing fiscal, economic, educational, social and even housing policies?
It's nice to hear the RRA will ensure no one is discriminated on the grounds of race blah, blah blah. Which means you got to dismantle and open up all those institutions that favour only one race group with one religious belief who have exclusivity in education, provision of goods and services, employment and public functions right?
Or are we going to be told like everything else in BolehLand is premised on the Constitution, Article 153 to be specific. Like the policy to eradicate poverty, NEP had that noble intention but was hijacked and turned into an 'apartheid; like policy.
Then the NEM, which again argues Article 153 as the decisive factor in implementing it.
And the most visible everyday reminder is this misnomer called 1Malaysia concept which again is premised on respecting the social contract which again points to Article 153.
This Article 153 is like a Roswellian Area 51 where it is safely guarded and noone knows if ever the truth is know what the real intentions of the founding fathers were when they crafted this Article.
It's even a crime among those given rights and privileges under the Article to disregard it. Even if they want to, they will be accused of being ungrateful, committing treason, sedition, threat to nation. It is like telling everyone, don't rock the boat or status quo! You'd make the politicians lose their job right?
The RRA will be another farce like the Peaceful Assembly Act that latter pissing every citizen who values freedom of assembly.
The RRA will never bring about real relations if BolehLand and the politicians and race based NGOs insist that Tanah Melayu is demarcated, divided, segregated, walled up, compartmentalised, sliced and boxed into this thing called race+religion, i.e. one race+one religion supremacy over the rest!
If we treat humans as humans and accord them human rights & dignity, the question of race will not be brought up. Poverty cut across every colour, creed and age, so does discrimination, injustice and even exploitation and in BolehLand corruption, greed and what have you.
Sadly, citizens are reminded who is more deserving considered a human or worthy to be called children of God by virtue of colour and religion!!!
To say that only one race is poorer that the others is to deny that there are worst off poorer people in other races who do not deserve to be helped just because of their colour and religious affiliation. Children of other races have to fend for themselves to educate themselves even if they cannot afford because too bad they don't belong to that race or want to be converted as a passport to obtain earthly privileges and rights?
The RRA will most likely be used to institutionlised further the race and racist mentality and attitude that politicians are trying so hard these days to create. It's like the DNA of BolehLand is distinguised by race and religion. All others are at the behest of the majority if they feel like it to let breadcrumbs fall from the master's table for the dogs to eat, to but it crudely and cruelly.
What is happening today is that those given that right and privileges are first in queue and the rest will get their dues only when the privileged have gotten all they have. Isn't this the reminder that is being drummed into the people?
Are the above just fairy tales and lies made up by those who feel they are made to be second class citizens or being discriminated along religious and cultural differences too? If they are lies as the politicians condemn those who dare to question Article 153, then we must accept the fact that we are practicing apartheid.
For a No2 leader to say the government has never bullied or discriminated anyone and warn those questioning Article 153 is a precursor of what the RRA will be used for. To say something is enshrine is to make it like some God's edict and dictate! Will the RRA if it perpetuates what is enshrined likely become a Reinforcing Racism Affirmative Law in BolehLand? Will March confirm it or something radically good come out of it huh?
Either our government leaders are telling the truth racism doesn't exists and noone is being discriminated or bullied. Or, we citizens are so useless and behave like uncle kim's children to believe whatever the leaders tell us, say who we are, what we must and can believe and how we should behave.
Real relations is about accepting, respecting and even fighting against discrimination. Colour, religious belief, cultural differences are blurred or not in the equation right? The moment we distinguish ourselves as superior or are told we are better off than another, we are merely being nice to each other and tolerating our differences. No attempt is made to eliminate and break away the barriers that cause such need for tolerance in the first place. If we argue that justice is to be decided based on a social contract and colour and one's God, are we really practicing justice at all?
And we claim to build the best first class democracy the world has ever know? Well true in a sense because in BolehLand, we give total freedom and democracy to think up of shioksendiri ideas, policies and schemes.

Season of Bad Ils
Given the pessimism in politics and of politicians in BolehLand, it is kinda hard to swallow the message of goodwill being asked from the leaders especially to celebrate it in 1Malaysia style or whatever it means to anyone these days.
Christmas to Christians is a time of peace, joy and hope that a new rebirth has started of good over evil, a theme that also resonates in the major religions of the world.
In Bolehland, religion is state sponsored, protected, propagated and also being used as a tool by politicians to stay in power or gain power - at least for the official religion.
So when Christians pray and hope for inclusiveness in their freedom of worship, those who consider themselves protector of the official religion and guardians take offence that Islam is somewhat equated on par like other religions.
What does it speak of a religion if it is is equated to granting rights and privileges to earthly things. Like these tangible stuff were more important that a rightful place in heaven! hah! In BolehLand, it seems we are adding a new God's law that if you believe in Him you'd be guaranteed earthly rights and privileges to scholarships, housing, work in certain sectors and what not! And we are told God is being threatened, his Godliness seemed threatened by other races who question such immutable privileges and rights, And to make it eternal, those who questioned it get locked up!!! And anyone who argues against such logic are considered committing sedition!!!
It is a myth and a medieval thinking that there is only one true God. There are those who can claim that right either by a piece of paper or pointing an AK47 or strapping c4 on themselves to force this point. What is it we must use God to cow men into believing those of that religion deserve first place, first right, privileges and all that and the rest of mankind owe them support because they are given the right and freedom to worship other Gods huh?
Is it logical we are only allowed freedom of worship because these so called chosen ones allowed others or wrote that on a piece of paper called a Constitution.
Freedom of worship is fundamental and no piece of paper can take away or force you to believe in God or not believe in God.
To be told you are allowed to worship your God and given that freedom and protection, is a kind of conditional threat to you. If it can be given, it can also be taken away too right?
For anyone who has strong faith in his true God, he will not be bound by man's law to dictate to him who he should worship or if he can or cannot do so.

And you are so a loser to argue about who is persecuting who and use other countries to point to discrimination of minor religions by the majority and justify it is also permissible in BolehLand.
The tired argument being used is how the West is persecuting and victimising Muslims so it's justifiable for majority Muslim nations to do the same to the minority, is it? That is enough to show the kind of mentality of anyone who try to justify that majority dictates the rules. So everything is relative right?
Why are we so fond of having a season of bad ills to people who believe in God and lead a good life based on their belief in their God? Why are politicians trying to behave like 'Gods', the very people who can't be trusted at all?

When the Constitution needs to give you freedom to worship God, there is something really wrong with how we understand God hah!
Christmas to Christians is a time of peace, joy and hope that a new rebirth has started of good over evil, a theme that also resonates in the major religions of the world.
In Bolehland, religion is state sponsored, protected, propagated and also being used as a tool by politicians to stay in power or gain power - at least for the official religion.
So when Christians pray and hope for inclusiveness in their freedom of worship, those who consider themselves protector of the official religion and guardians take offence that Islam is somewhat equated on par like other religions.
What does it speak of a religion if it is is equated to granting rights and privileges to earthly things. Like these tangible stuff were more important that a rightful place in heaven! hah! In BolehLand, it seems we are adding a new God's law that if you believe in Him you'd be guaranteed earthly rights and privileges to scholarships, housing, work in certain sectors and what not! And we are told God is being threatened, his Godliness seemed threatened by other races who question such immutable privileges and rights, And to make it eternal, those who questioned it get locked up!!! And anyone who argues against such logic are considered committing sedition!!!
It is a myth and a medieval thinking that there is only one true God. There are those who can claim that right either by a piece of paper or pointing an AK47 or strapping c4 on themselves to force this point. What is it we must use God to cow men into believing those of that religion deserve first place, first right, privileges and all that and the rest of mankind owe them support because they are given the right and freedom to worship other Gods huh?
Is it logical we are only allowed freedom of worship because these so called chosen ones allowed others or wrote that on a piece of paper called a Constitution.
Freedom of worship is fundamental and no piece of paper can take away or force you to believe in God or not believe in God.
To be told you are allowed to worship your God and given that freedom and protection, is a kind of conditional threat to you. If it can be given, it can also be taken away too right?
For anyone who has strong faith in his true God, he will not be bound by man's law to dictate to him who he should worship or if he can or cannot do so.

All I Want For Christmas is a Sensitive BolehLand
Merry Christmas Everyone. It's a day of peace, joy, love and hope. That's at least what Christians themed Christmas.
So in the spirit of Christmas, not going to be a scrooge even though in past week, BolehLand's nonsense, insanity and a whole lot of bullsh*t are getting ever more on high gear. So today, it's time to relax and be merry for the woes of BolehLand is always on us every second. Tomorrow is Boxing Day and there is time to go a bashing at the woes of BolehLand.
Today, it's dashing off for some relaxing walkabout and take some pixs.
Was at The Curve Mutiara last night to welcome Christmas. It's good to see the crowd was there as usual. And lots joining in the festivity, irrespective whatever men of faith, they wore different types of headgear, from Santa's cape to Rudolph's antlers. But what were those horns for? Hello, it's not Hallowen for Jesus sake! Goes to show many still think Christmas is that commercial thingy and that Santa is the incarnation of the Saviour of the World!!! Or is it this 1Malaysia overstated hype to embrace and celebrate our diversity.
It's Christmas where Jesus is supposed to put Satan away gheez. You don't see those horns on Chinese New Year do you? That's the thing about BolehLand folks, they want to make a fun joke out of everything not knowing the sensitivity. So am I being sensitive than letting one loose and anything goes? It's this lack of sensitivity and respect that treats serious things like some fun so that opportunists will use it to also make fun of a religious festival!
But folks did enjoy, joining in the music, company and that increasing up north behaviour of spraying 'snow' at each other and anyone! On a squirt is ok, but to canister dump and make the other person look like he or she just got out of a bubble bath is way too fun, right?
A Merry Christmas to all then and please let the rain go away!

Bullying the Convent Nuns?
The Convent Bukit Nanas principal appointment fiasco raises many questions.
The last would be over the race of the candidate which some are trying to politicise! It is not that the missionary schools or what is left do not have principals of different races. After all, they subscribe to the best candidate to protect the alma mater of the institution and the one they proposed are deemed to be able to carry on the age ole traditions of the school right?
So to say it is about race is rather adopting a juvenile uneducated mentality.
It's more of not living up to the promise of consultations than the Education Deputy Minister trying to find an excuse about not knowing retirement age and what have you, right?
Even the Minister's Koh's attempt to put a bit more believability to the 1Malaysia concept is a comical act that only confirms more than half the population belief that the concept is just another sloganeering to paint over the racist mentality of the government.
'The 1Malaysia concept is reflected in the country's education system, of which the various communities including Christian mission schools and other religious schools have roles to play..'. so Koh was quoted to have said.
1Malaysia concept is reflected in the education system... it's a Christmas joke that can only come out of the Scrooge!
One's reflection on a muddy pond is more real and believable than this overplayed ploy of using the 1Malaysia concept to try and make a wrong right, right?
The issue is just plain blatant disregard for the gentleman's agreement on the appointment of the principal. But then has this government ever been a gentleman towards others lately say in the last 30 years or so?
Even among themselves, they don't consult on important issues particularly on those that relate to other non official religions.
There have been too many times that such subtle covert attempts have been made to undermine the independence and rights of others. Haven't they got enough that they need to have total control and dominance?
Is there an agenda in this suspicious move? Noone really believes the government's excuse. Not yet because the ultra right race groups have not shifted into high gear to use this opportunity to paint a racist picture of other races. Perhaps they are crafting their police report against the school and the church for meddling in an education policy decision. And a Malay UMNO dominated government who is getting more racist to regain grassroot race support to stay in power huh?
For the Education people not to know the agreed upon process for the CBN's appointment is to either show how uneducated and ignorant they are or just a deliberate attempt to show the bully they are to arm twist the defenceless nuns to submission huh?
The reminder to all of us who seek to preserve whatever rights we have, if we dare to defend them that is, if you are not watchful and lose your guard, you will forever lose the last bit of independence, justice and rights you have.
So whose version do we believe in this fiasco, the nuns, church or the UMNO Ministers?
The poor principal is just a pawn in someone's agenda. Maybe a tactic to create this controversy than do a Koh's all inclusive 1Malaysia policy to show how sensitive, accomodative and race friendly the present UMNO dominated BN government is, eh?
The Christians do feel sorry and apologise for the embarrassment that the government has put on the principal. It's not her fault... it's entirely the fault of the bureaucrats, agent provocateur to stir up controversy just to score brownie votes for the coming GE13 huh?!
Isn't the above scenario plausible given than since GE12, BolehLand has conjured or rather the politicians have said, done, implied and will do so for many years to come, the most ridiculous, insane, evil, devious and greedy thinking and actions - even in the name of God, a lot in the name of race and more to stay in power?
It's really a scandal and unforgivable for the Ministry of Education NOT TO KNOW or to consult the church on the appointment.
Perhaps some smart aleck think they can use the Constitution to get their way not knowing that yes God, not the one we are told who is a true God but to Christians and all others, God works in mysterious way.
We wonder if the political situation is not what it is today, 1Malaysia and UMNO will make a gostan on their decision. No way they want to lose face right?
So who do we believe is telling the truth over the appointment? The nuns, people of God or the government who have been playing God for more than over 50 years?
And who is the bully here that we should shame them? Shame, shame, shame for bullying convent nuns eh?
Even if it's the Yuletide season, hope the Christians will really live to the give and take spirit of the celebration. Since someone tried to take away their liberty and rights, they should return it by giving their vote to the other side.

Stop Bashing Me With Your Thrash
In Bolehland, as GE13 approaches, the 'bashing' game seems to overtake the 'dashing' yuletide festivity. So much so, one can literally hum a tune of the bashing that politicians and racists parties seem to be dishing out by the hour.
At the recent race political party, it's bashing race, religion, people, even their own kind and religion.
When things got uncow-ered, those who sought clarity are bashed.
When the public protest peacefully a law passed by those who are the culprits of breaking up peaceful assembly, these peaceful protestors are bashed for breaking the peaceful assembly law.
It's really sickening that everyone else gets bashed because the status quo of complacency, greed, corruption, nepotism, intolerance, bigotry, religious and self insecurity, arrogance of some groups or party are being threatening!
Stop bashing me for being successful because I had to struggle on my own
Stop bashing me because I can own a nice home because I didn't get to buy one with discount
Stop bashing me for my religion and the way I pray because I didn't get ready made money to build my house of worship
Stop bashing me I am smart because I don't get a chance of first choice for scholarship or university or residential school
Stop bashing me for being a doctor (any other profession) you are not because I am not privileged to get a privileged scholarship and had to do it all alone
Stop bashing me for converting you because I am not privileged to be given so many religious guidance and state funded religious classes to know my religion to convince you to convert
Stop bashing me for threatening your religion when I have no help in even having enough time or given time to pray to my God
Stop bashing me I pray in the national language because you demand we all know the national language

A Truly Land of Smiles
Northern Thailand, the Land of Smiles as often called has been called by other names most rather sexist, full of innuendos and plain unfair most times!
It hit news again when a small airline aptly called PC Air launched its first flight from Bangkok with its crew who would put our local beaus to a little less proud they are 'perasaan' with their so called vain pot beautify looks. The PC Air crew are the first it seems to have what many called these Thais beaus as 'katoys' ladybois! Yes transsexual air stewardess. Oh let's just call them stewardess than try to be biologically or morally or whatever correct ok?
According to the chief he said, "I think these people can have many careers - not just in the entertainment business - and many of them have a dream to be an air hostess. I just made their dream come true. Our society has changed. It's evolution. I'm a pioneer and I'm sure there will be other organisations following my idea."

It hit news again when a small airline aptly called PC Air launched its first flight from Bangkok with its crew who would put our local beaus to a little less proud they are 'perasaan' with their so called vain pot beautify looks. The PC Air crew are the first it seems to have what many called these Thais beaus as 'katoys' ladybois! Yes transsexual air stewardess. Oh let's just call them stewardess than try to be biologically or morally or whatever correct ok?
According to the chief he said, "I think these people can have many careers - not just in the entertainment business - and many of them have a dream to be an air hostess. I just made their dream come true. Our society has changed. It's evolution. I'm a pioneer and I'm sure there will be other organisations following my idea."

God Supplying the Doe
Friends have been wondering the sudden quietness in the blog. Well have been so busy on terra cotta than there wasn't time to see the 'real' world in cyberspace!
Work is becoming rather hectic, most of which are rather swirling in a whirlpool of verbosity and convoluted spin of simple things made pompous by a play of words to make it look important and buy-in. Having been into this churning out 'strategy' speak in volumes of decks, powerpoints and what have you presentations for too long, makes one feel comforted by the mass volume of verbosity - which are fluff really. These charts and bullet points and timing sequences makes one think that we are in a real world. Our security and comfort zones seem to be correlated to the number of impressive strategic speak, charts, diagrams and multi media presentations for bosses and who have you.
Just like this Pemandu fellows being so comfortable in their driver's seat because their journey seemed to be made clearer by the second because of the rate of powerpoints and media ads they put out there - simply to tell us common or rather the rural folks that everything is on track!
The one thing that seems on track for Pemandu is never failing to put up a great poster, billboard, powerpoint, above and below the line publicity and roadshows according to their publicity communication plan we can supposed.
So ever so often, we are fed with progress which is often told as 'successes' of the ETP, NKRA, KPI and other high sounding impressive acronyms that we believe that everything is on target or exceeding target.
Though some are skeptical of the rosy picture being painted with the success of 1Malaysia's pet projects, the second certain thing things are moving with this ETP is money, huge billions are going to be spent. Nothing seems too large a price nor huge a bill for 1Malaysia to make his pet projects a reality!
It's like the Pharoahs' of ole, sacrificing millions of poor souls and spending years on years to build colossal monuments and temples or pyramids for that matter, to get that shioksendiri feeling!
We read, it's not the destination that matters, it is the journey that matters! In BolehLand, it's the other way round. The MRT is what matter and the billions of ringgit spent is secondary. So too for satu lagi projek Barisan Natoinal on palaces, public utilities and new NKRAs which carry huge billions bill.
We are stomping our foot and getting all fumed up over some million ringgit loose change cow-dominum scandal compared to the gargantuan billions that seem to drop from some heavenly abode to pay for these huge high ticket items of 1Malaysia!
We are scolded for not reigning in our spending, for creating bankrupts unto ourselves, for asking government to subsidise this and that. We are told we are going to get bankrupt if we don't pay more taxes.
On the other hand, 1Malaysia is on a spending spree!!! There must be truth when UMNO tells certain racial groups that God favours and bestow the heavenly mandate on UMNO as guardian of this race, this religion and all things they do on Tanah Melayu. So that may explain how they seem to have endless pennies falling from heaven. God is providing UMNO the doe to complete their multi billion pet projects.
With such huge success which earns top top headline spreads to declare high speed successes, UMNO should not be bothered with character assassination or fight imaginary ghost to try and win the public's vote, right?
The public are not stupid, ignorant morons - well maybe the rural heartlands are. They can feel any change as well as difference. Right now, how concrete are the deck, posters, charts and powepoints that their nice looking graphical presentation of successes are real ones?!
Have we felt the changes in our lives with the setting up of 1Email, KR1M, 1Moblie clinics and the thousands of '1' thought up - 1 this and 1that initiatives at the expense of taxpayer's monies?
A consultant once reminded 'Do impressive decks ensure success?' We create an illusion of feel good when we create presentation decks. Our success seems to be gauged on how pretty our .ppt is, no?
But for some, even if they give terrible useless confusing ppt of their action or business plans, they still moo-ved the lenders to turn over green fodder to them to achieve their successes based on slide no 12a, appendix 3.1.23! Makes us all really think that God must really favour UMNO flushing them with cash and free money that it doesn't warrant accountability, transparency and ethical behaviour for millions given here, there and to whomever produces the prettiest '.ppt' presentation right?

Blame, Blame, Blame, Nothing Has Changed UMNO
The recent UMNO assembly has lived up to its over 50 years of tradition, fiery rhetoric, fevour nationalist to the point of supremacist mentality, overtly racist, which we guess is warranted because of the nature of the political party it represents and without fail, the holier than thou followed by a barrage of negativity and hurling hailstones at those who they deemed have caused the party to lose support and its political survival threatened by those they think are ungrateful - the gravity of the sin of ungratefulness are in the order of the Malays and the non Malays with the qualifier those who are from the other camp!
Phew this must be the longest longwinded paragraph I've ever blogged and made sense and as factual as a mathematical or geometry equation, whether taught in Bahasa Melayu and English, right?
The bogeyman and scapegoats this time are the Pakatan fellows every single one of them, irrespective if they are Malays and Muslim, which UMNO has made itself the ketuanan but ironically whacks them nonethless and then the Chinese and others!
Even the cowdonminum affair got only a low moo mentioned while the delegates were scalping the hides of those ungrateful Malays and Muslims from the PAS and Pakatan camp,
And of course the piece de resistance of the Assembly is always to remind who is the ketuanan and defender of Article 153 specifically the holy grail of rights and privileges that has now become cast in stone forever or rather a reminder to all that it is must be the dictate of God to bestow such privileged perpetuity upon this one race and one religion.
Seems ironical on one hand their delegates condemns the Malays and Muslims on the other side and then in one breath seek to preserve their rights and privileges nonetheless!
The MSMedia is having a field day and one may think they are trying to compete with the delegates in the halls of the Putra World Trade Centre, who is able to use the most vitriolic language to blame, blame, blame everyone for the woes and ills of the their party mind you. They seem to have absolved themselves for the state if the disunion in BoelLand and aim their keris at Pakatan and those who do not bow down and show their gratitude to UMNO!
While the delegates have not qualms to hurl verbal abuse at Pakatan and Malays and Muslims alike, the MCA and other race based parties have not voiced their disgust at the Chinese bashing via DAP and all other races.
Where are the MCA, MIC, Gerakan and East Malaysian leaders, Idris Jala when the delegates were condemning and accusing their respective race for threatening the race, language and religion of the Malays?
UMNO must be the most failed political party in political theory and history. After spending billions of ringgit and institutionalising Islam in almost every fabric of Bolehland society, the are telling the umat that their faith is so weak and fragile and easily being threatened by the non Muslim leaders, the DAP, Pakatan, PAS and other Muslims who do not share their Islamic model state.
If we listen to their attack on enemies of Islam, it shows they have done a bad job in strengthening the faith of the Muslims they have appointed themselves as guardians. Similarly, the Malay race have been so weakened to the point they are being threatened by non Malay leaders administrating a state. The call to makes sure every GLC is an UMNO appointee shows the greed and insecurity as well as ensuring that every rakyat sen is within their grasp?
They must be blamed for weakening the umat and the race, creating a race and umat that have low self esteem and negative self worth and the cause of such failures. Somehow they do not admit such weaknesses are their doing. The lash out at all those who do not vote for UMNO and brand these especially those who are from the Pakatan camps as the enemies of Islam, Malays and UMNO.
Didn't we hear 1Malaysia remind the delegates to be sensitive to the feelings of others before the start of the assembly? Or was the statement made was just some eye wash to show to the citizens UMNO has changed and matured beyond using race, religion and even language to gain public's confidence of them, huh?
The UMNO assembly has showned NOTING HAS CHANGED in UMNO. The have gone ultra chauvinistic and far right to the point of wanting to create a fascist state! We thought Uncle Kim was a vain pot to want all the attention unto himself!
It is now clear that 1Malaysia is just another trick to regain pubic support. The race agenda has reached its crescendo in this assembly and the world now sees the kind of leaders who are bent on malingering their own people just to stay in power. And we thought Syria has rogue leaders whacking their own people.
The message from the congress is 'if you are not with UMNO, you are against the Malays, Islam, Bahasa Melayu even the Constitution, no? And you deserve the foulest of expletives and harshest treatment meted against you so that you will be cowed to bow to the supreme leader and the party!
Wake up citizens, wake up rural kampung folks, wake up party members, wake up all those who are made suckers and being told that they have changed!
If you want to show you have changed, you are the better choice, shouldn't you be talking about how to uplift the standard of living of EVERYONE, eliminate corruption, eradicate social injustice, reduce inflation, provide better utilities and public facilities. No, they left it to their leader to talk about their economic agenda and that is in between ridiculing the opposition! Goes to show that the delegates don't know what the heck the ETP, KPI, NKRE and all acronyms being created to impress the rakyat with impressive power points and billboards that all is well huh?
We get a feeling when the delegates are served with this alphabet soup of acronyms, they are only looking for the letters that read, rights, privileges, quotas and handbouts! The rest are just cast aside!
Wake up citizens, UMNO, BN HAS NOT CHANGED and are getting even dirtier in character assassination and spending so much time criticiwing and condemning the people they way they are the ketuanan, condemning the their own umat hey have vouched to protect. The leaders are not peacemakers, they are not builders of bridges, nor are they men of peace and goodwill. They are happy to join in the emotive chorus of condemnation, sarcasm and cynicism. The are ready to perpetuate corruption, cronyism, patriotism because they have been silent on these issues. Not even thinking these are stumbling blocks or are the concerns of the citizens!
Psychologists will tell you that insecure people will attack their opponents with the foulest underhand tactics as they believe by attacking and showing their ferocious and foul side, their enemies will be frightened. It's a sort of defence mechanism to hide their shortcomings right?
UMNO, if you are a party of strength, a party which holds high moral standard, a party that makes itself a party for all, would you have done what you just did?
The past week at Putra World Trade Centre is really a joke and a circus. Rather than resolve their weakness and put forth ways to strengthen and improve themselves from within, they went on a jingoist verbal abuse and offensive spewing salvos of venom at their enemies.
Hello we are tired of this same of lame blame game. Of rights, privileges and quotas. Of your race still being left behind, or your religion being threatened and weakened. Why all the accusing of the Chinese of threatening your language, culture or religion? Why don't just arrest all those you suspect are threatening you! Why this verbal showdown?
UMNO is behaving like a wounded mad bull, and they have to make up lots of imaginery stories for the bull to justify its action to go on the attack and gorge the hell out of those who stand in their way. This is the message we are hearing.
Is this the UMNO that will lead us to be a high income, matured and producing the world's best democracy and a nation of moderates? Do we want to vote a party that are showing undertones of seeking revenge when they get their two thirds?
Wake up moderate people and make their voice heard if you are disgusted with the way these people think they have finally killed off the Pakatan with their rhetoric and character assasination!
It's so shameful that sex and innuendos are fodder used by leaders to rouse up the emotions of their members! It shows the mentality of the party and what turns them out and what they prefer to do than take care of the people!

The past week at Putra World Trade Centre is really a joke and a circus. Rather than resolve their weakness and put forth ways to strengthen and improve themselves from within, they went on a jingoist verbal abuse and offensive spewing salvos of venom at their enemies.
Hello we are tired of this same of lame blame game. Of rights, privileges and quotas. Of your race still being left behind, or your religion being threatened and weakened. Why all the accusing of the Chinese of threatening your language, culture or religion? Why don't just arrest all those you suspect are threatening you! Why this verbal showdown?
UMNO is behaving like a wounded mad bull, and they have to make up lots of imaginery stories for the bull to justify its action to go on the attack and gorge the hell out of those who stand in their way. This is the message we are hearing.
Is this the UMNO that will lead us to be a high income, matured and producing the world's best democracy and a nation of moderates? Do we want to vote a party that are showing undertones of seeking revenge when they get their two thirds?
Wake up moderate people and make their voice heard if you are disgusted with the way these people think they have finally killed off the Pakatan with their rhetoric and character assasination!
It's so shameful that sex and innuendos are fodder used by leaders to rouse up the emotions of their members! It shows the mentality of the party and what turns them out and what they prefer to do than take care of the people!
The theme from the congress are best summed in this ABC triplicates

BLAME BLAME BLAME
CURSE, CURSE, CURSE
And our reaction can be also summed up in triplicates SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!
As I have blogged so often, 1Malaysia and each political party has been given so many occasion to turn an event into one of HEALING A NATION.
But the sickening thing is when opportunities present, we are told how sick our political leaders and parties is!
The last week UMNO thinks they have won the people to their side and the world will praise them for their foresight and maturity. But sadly the citizens think they have disintegrate into an Unsound Minds Negative Obnoxious party, huh!
Wonder which PR agency advised them on how to behave and the strategy they took at the congress. That Dream Team from Blair's den huh?
