A Good Racist is Good For Racial Ties?

Perhaps the best hobby among our political leaders is how to politicise anything and everything.

The BN and Pakatan fellows have been going at each other's throats since GE12 and MCA is right in pointing out that there is non-stop politicking since the last GE. Of course, MCA our Chinese based ruling party blames it on the Opposition.

MCA leader accused Pakatan of using "every opportunity to turn everything into racial and religious issues...There’s no denying the relationship among Malaysians of different backgrounds since March 8, 2008 is not as good as before..." as reported in an online media.

Which means that before GE12 or when BN was two thirds majority the past 50 years, every race based party was told to maintain the status quo and tow the line. Well at least not for the majority Malay based party, UMNO which dictates how the other parties and the nation should behave.

So when the people decided to vote a higher opposition number, the boat or rather the dacing began to sway back and forth, flip flop as the vogue term being used these days, each partner in BN began to play the race based card to remind their race who is their champion and who are their enemies.

Since GE12, the race based political parties have become more race based. Each side supported even their own left or right wing groups to champion their cause.

While Pakatan wants to paint itself as championing along principles, they cannot divorce themselves from grassroot support, which at this stage is still race based. So the defacto leader in Pakatan foist hudud laws, lukewarm to protests against Seksualit Malaysia, speaking in different tongues on the language issue for Maths and Science, and a host of issues that affect race, race, race.

Oh for a moment, we think that MCA is right in pointing out Pakatan being the culprit for the woes in BolehLand. But then, BN also fits nicely in what Pakatan is accused of masterminding.

MCA in accusing Pakatan of causing poor racial ties is admitting to be the supporter of the status quo. Even the issue of a non Malay premier is very very race based.

UMNO and BN gloat each time academicians and right or left wing groups argue against calling ourselves Malaysian first and others later. While these groups put a middle finger up against any attempt to break away from race and religion in seeking justice for all on issues of poverty, housing, education, business and a whole lot of every day issue, they are happy to use their index or first finger to expound this oxymoron 1Malaysian concept.

MCA fights for race rights, Chinese rights to their vices, gambling for one and even use the argument of jobs being lost if the greatest den of Satan, the gambling casino is closed! We thought the casino employs mostly foreign croupiers working at the casino huh?

Seems the MCA leader said said the Pakatan parties were not being truthful when they said hudud law would not affect non-Muslims. A PAS leader has said they would shut down the Genting Highlands resort because of its gambling outlet. If that happens, thousands – including non-Muslims – will lose their jobs. Who said it won’t affect them? ... DAP had kept silent on this matter..."

And we have even heard of their intention to fight till death to preserve gambling in areas where religious officials plan to impose hudud to stop such activities. They are silent on hudud to stop crime, prostitution, perverts and being politically correct on the homophobia behaviour afflicting our moral leaders!

Noone says you can't have a resort without having the largest casino floor space about 2,000 meters in the clouds huh? Sunway Lagoo and many resorts are thriving without the need for gambling dens where ole folks and parents leave their kids while they gamble away their kid's inheritance we can supposed?

While some people strive to remove ancient bad habits, MCA is rather like some ole Middle Kingdom Dynasty warlords seeking to retain thousand year old to them 'customs'! like gambling.

Seriously, are you less a Chinese if you don't gamble, drink, have mistress, swear, don't eat pork or think, eat, sleep, play MCA? Are you a less Malaysia if you also subscribe to these same behaviours huh?

In BolehLand, the English Language used to be part of our society and culture. Today it is considered a foreign element. MCA on the other hand wants the Chinese to retain their customs, ala habits such as gambling, perhaps even extra marital sex because Chinese customs use to look up to a successful man as having concubines to show off his prosperity and what about their love for self indulgence that brings them to 7th Tien, like opium smoking (thanks to the British in the 19th century) or drinking spirits?

MCA cannot decide what Chinese customs and habits it will fight to the death to defend and what it can give up when big brader dictates to MCA. UMNO has already said the timing is not right for hudud. So when the timing is right is MCA saying hudud is good and gambling must be killed off because it is evil, just because UMNO decided to implement hudud?

So why is PAS hudud more haram and dangerous to MCA than UMNO's hudud? When the Jabatan Islam decides to do what the laws MCA has passed to allow them to act, why is MCA squeaky quiet about it. But screams and shout when PAS says it will implement islamic laws?

Why are we always talking about racial ties? Are we not one nation? Our social, justice and freedom are being decided and dictated by race and religion. MCA is one of the main culprits perpetuating this, including BN and Pakatan.

So it chuckles us when MCA sought to remind BolehLand folks who is the cause of poor racial ties or racial tension or even being racist.

UMNO general assembly is round the corner. Already the  war cries to remind each of us about who is the boss, which race takes first or why we should have and support this or that race for our survival is the jingoistic call from leaders! Everyone is reminded about the status quo and the need to be visible who is the ketuanan of this or that race and who are the betrayers.

The ordinary folks will be bashed for not wanting to wear the lens of race, religion, rights and privileges. Anyone who try and talk of principles like justice, fairness and freedom even of peaceful assemblies will be branded enemies of the state and also betrayers of their own race!

The way we distinguish ourselves is like how we brand cows and our durians so to speak! Each is of a certain breed and given a label! No wonder we are all being treated less than human beings and more like pawns to be shafted and shuffled around in the political game of who will win the poker game!

BolehLand can never get away from being racist because our leaders don't want us to break such race and religious barriers for fear of losing their political power? What has race to do with being a good leader or a CEO? Why must it be decided on race? Are we saying if you belong to one race you are more qualified? Just because you have a majority or minority race or group, you need to decide leadership based on some colour code or number game?

Let us see the lies behind by MCA or any political leader's accusation that this or that party or person is the cause of poor racial ties or conflict or tenson.

Leave the colour, God or what we eat or drink out if you convince others you are setting up a world class democracy and as the inventor of nation of moderates, huh?

To MCA. good racial ties means you must behave according to how each race is told to behave by the political leaders? And we laugh at Myanmar and ridicule Uncle Kim and those banana republic dic(k)tators hah!
